Cookie Policy
Effective date: 12 October 2026
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on later visits, which is how sites remember a login, a language choice or an advertising profile. Related technologies do similar jobs by other means: browser storage areas that hold data for a site, tiny images loaded to register that a page was opened, and scripts fetched from other companies that can observe your visit.
purestanza.online uses none of them. The list below is what was checked on this site, published by MARTYNAT s.r.o.
What we checked
- Cookies set by this site
- Not used. No page on purestanza.online sets a cookie of any kind, session or persistent.
- Cookies set by others through this site
- Not used. There is no third-party content embedded anywhere — no analytics, no advertising, no social buttons, no video players, no comment system — so nobody is in a position to set a cookie through our pages.
- localStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to it, including on the checklists page.
- sessionStorage
- Not used. Nothing is written to it.
- IndexedDB
- Not used. No database is created in your browser.
- Tracking pixels
- Not used. There are no image files on this site at all; the illustrations are drawn in the page with SVG and CSS.
- Browser fingerprinting
- Not used. We do not collect fonts, screen measurements, canvas output, device identifiers or any other signal for recognising a browser.
- Web fonts and third-party scripts
- Not used. The typefaces are the ones already on your computer, and the only script is a short first-party file that opens the small-screen menu and runs the print button. Your browser makes no request to any other server while reading this site.
- Server access logs
- Used. This is the one entry on the list that happens. Our hosting provider records the IP address, date and time, requested URL, referring page if your browser sends one, and user-agent string for each request, and keeps those entries for 30 days.
Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist so that a reader can agree, or refuse, before non-essential cookies are set. On this site there is nothing to agree to. Showing a banner here would ask you to make a choice that has no object, and would imply that something is being stored when nothing is. We would rather publish this page and leave your screen alone.
What does happen when you read a page
Your browser asks our hosting provider for the page, the stylesheet and the script, and receives them. The provider's server writes a line in its log recording the request, as described above, and those lines are kept for 30 days. That is the whole of it. The Privacy Policy sets out why the logs exist, who can see them, and the fact that they may be held outside Australia.
The checklists do not remember ticks
The boxes on the checklists page are printed outlines, not controls. Nothing on this site records which lines you have worked through, because doing so would require localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB or a cookie, and none of those is used. If you want to keep a record, print the page or copy the lines into your own notes.
After you follow an affiliate link
The course contains paid affiliate links, explained on the funding page. Following one takes you to a different website. World of Warships and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record that the referral came from us. MARTYNAT s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot read them and cannot turn them off. Their own cookie and privacy notices describe them, and they are worth reading before you create an account anywhere.
Blocking or clearing cookies in general
Nothing here needs blocking, but the controls are worth knowing for the rest of the web. Every current browser keeps them in its settings, usually under a heading such as privacy, security or site data. From there you can normally delete cookies and site data already stored, block third-party cookies, block cookies for particular sites, and clear everything when the browser closes. Private or incognito windows discard cookies and storage when the window is closed. Blocking cookies broadly will sign you out of sites that rely on them, which is the usual reason people stop short of it.
If this ever changes
We do not intend to introduce cookies. If that ever changed, this page would be rewritten first, with the effective date updated, and a working consent mechanism would be in place before any non-essential cookie was set — not afterwards.
